The Satellite Clinic
West Tennessee Healthcare operates The Satellite Clinic one day a week in Ripley, offering free primary care, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment. Non-emergency walk-in services include routine primary care, screenings and examinations, psychiatric and mental health treatment including medication and counseling, substance abuse treatment, peer services, and care coordination. The mobile clinic is fully funded through the "Project Rural Recovery" grant from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

University of Tennessee Nursing Mobile Health Unit
UTHSC Nursing Mobile Health is a mobile unit fully equipped as an outpatient clinic that is used to increase access to healthcare in Lauderdale and Lake counties. The unit is led by advanced practice nurses and operates in collaboration with local healthcare providers and community members. A family nurse practitioner provides both on-site and telehealth services to patients. Nursing students in UTHSC’s undergraduate and graduate programs are part of UTHSC Nursing Mobile Health care team while learning to deliver patient-centered care and promote health in these communities.
